Times are changing…
For many people, the 9-5 workday might start and end while still in pajamas.
That’s because, largely thanks to the internet, there has been a steady rise in the number of people working from home.
For instance, according to the US Census, over 8 million Americans are now working from home.
And a subset of these people aren’t just working for their bosses from home.
Rather, they are full-time online entrepreneurs, earning a full-time living through blogging, running their own online store, creating digital products or other types of digital services from the comfort of their living rooms.
In fact, many regular people like you or me have turned what was their passions, hobbies, or just their willingness to learn into 6, 7, or 8 figure online businesses.
As someone who started out as an absolute beginner with no particular skills for any of this, I can say that it’s never been easier to create blogs, websites, or start an online business than it is today.
We’re Chelsea and Jack, and welcome to Beginner Income.
What is This Place?
The goal of Beginner Income is to help you earn an extra income over the internet without any prior experience or skills needed.
In order to do this, we’ll be covering topics like passive income, side income, blogging, affiliate marketing, SEO, e-commerce, wordpress, and some others.
Basically, all of the stuff I wish someone would have helped me with when I first started trying to earn a living online.

I also believe one of the biggest problems people have when starting something new is a lack of confidence and direction. I sincerely hope this website changes that for you.
How I Started
Five years ago, I was recently out of school and doing the daily grind at a call-center making minimum wage.
And at this point in my life, I had only a vague road map of where my future might be headed and was just trying to survive until I figured it out.
Then, disaster struck…
Let’s just say it was one car accident and a lot of bad luck after that, but I ended up having to quit my job and extending my stay at my parents house.
Desperate to earn money and in too much pain at the time to work a regular job, I turned to the internet in the hopes of finding some way to earn money from home.
I started by applying for no experience needed at home jobs like Leapforce and Lionsbridge, but didn’t get accepted.
So, I kept searching Google and reading blogs and messageboards about different ways to make money over the internet, hoping to find any tips or “secrets” that might help me.
Eventually, I stumbled onto the concept of passive income, which is essentially making money when you’re not actually working—like in your sleep—rather than having to actively be working minute by minute for every dollar earned.
This seemed great, in theory, but the majority of resources out there were about investing in real-estate (like Rich Dad, Poor Dad), which to a practically broke twenty-something year old… just wasn’t going to happen.
Soon after, I found a random guy’s blog about making money through blogging and affiliate marketing.
And from that point my life really was forever changed.
I spent the next couple weeks reading everything I could about WordPress, blogging, SEO, and affiliate marketing… and I haven’t looked back since.
The first blog I ever made was about reviewing treadmills people would purchase from Amazon, which after a month was earning about $100-$200 a month on auto-pilot.
A couple of months later, I was making around $800 a month.
I started a few smaller sites as well, and by the following year I was making $4,000 a month, until eventually breaking well into the five-figures for monthly income.
In my first year, I also started a small online store to try the whole e-commerce thing as well; I was and still am selling only about half a dozen low-priced beauty products.
And while still small, that store recently had a record breaking month of over $40,000.
I plan to expand on this by opening another much larger online store in this niche soon. But have been busy with blogging and other online projects.
The point of this story is not to brag, but to show what is possible.
Because I really think if I can succeed then anyone else can too.
My hope is that Beginner Income will be one of the stepping stones which also brings you to financial success and freedom.
